Looking for more bottles
« on: March 31, 2010, 12:01:40 PM »

I have been brewing my ass off the past few weeks (25 gallons fermenting right now and brewing more next week). I am currently not set up to keg, and not really interested since I general I prefer bottle conditioned beer; I also tend to give six packs of friends and family, etc. That all being said, I do not have enough bottles to handle all of the beer that will need to be bottled over the next couple of weeks. If you have beer bottles (any size) that you are willing to part with for a reasonable price please let me know. Thanks a lot

I have a bunch of 22oz bottles that have painted labels on them (from Southern Tier, Stone, and Rogue).  These aren't good for competitions, but would you want them anyway?  Otherwise, to the recycling bin they will go.

Thanks Spidey, but like you I don't reuse the painted label bottles. Thanks for the offer though.

I found a case of green Heiniken bottles and 10 Grolsch bottles last night as well that I didn't remember I had. That puts me only about two cases short for my bottling and one of the batches is a braggot that won't be ready to be bottled for at least two months and it can wait in the carboy until I have enough bottles free if necessary.
