My question is what happens if you brew a Flanders red with these? Do your balls get infected and make everything they touch taste sour? Maybe instead of sending around oak cubes, people will start sharing their balls. I could go on and on with this one...

Seriously, these things would be halfway useful for deciding when to cold crash a cider if they were in 0.002 increments
