Looking for a Home - Mini "Bubba" Kegs and Dispensor
« on: May 21, 2008, 08:24:53 AM »

I used to use several mini "bubba" kegs to hold my homebrew, but have upgraded to full-sized corney kegs.  So, I am looking to give away the 4 bubba kegs and their dispensor mechanism to a "good home."  Each bubba keg holds 12 bottles of beer and is assisted in dispensing by a CO2 canister (the size used in paint ball guns, but don't use those because they contain oil lubricants).  I have not used them in about 2 years, so I can't attest for sure that all the parts work.  I had mixed success with them, but am happy to give them to someone who wants to fiddle with them.  They are FREE!  Let me know if you are interested and I can bring them along to the next meeting.

They are yours.  I will try to remember to bring them to the next meeting.

I got these from Tom and I don't think I'll ever get around to using them.  I now have 2 kegs and 4 carboys, creating more of a backlog of beer than I can handle (I know, terrible problem to have, right?). I haven't had much luck bottle carbonating in regular bottles either, so I think I'm going to stick to kegging where I can adjust the carbonation through force-carbing if needed.  So I want to pass these bubba kegs along to someone else that might be able to put them to use...
