Well I thought I would really try and take the stress off so I used vodka.  Tom, my vine is now dead.  Thanks a lot.  Just kidding.  But every time I am visiting the hops with a homebrew in hand, I am very tempted.

I would think that you should try some gin, maybe with a couple of olives and just a spritz of vermouth, as I hear hop plants really like dry martinis.
