Hey CAMRA'ers...I kinda messed up. I'm brewing a wit tomorrow and forgot to add the lactic acid or acidulated malt to my Austin Homebrew order. I really don't want to have to pay for shipping again. Any chance anyone has any of either of these I could use? I need like .13 lbs of Acidulated Malt, or an ounce of lactic acid.

Thanks!

Hey Evan,
I've got to order a replacement shank for my kegerator today from the Weekend Brewer in Richmond. They seem to be the only ones that have the part for my draft tower. I hate it when DIY projects turn out to be more complicated than you'd expect--which seems to be all the time. Anyway, I'll check to see if they have it and if so, I can add either acid malt or lactic acid to my order. It should arrive mid next week if I order today. This would postpone your brewing a bit. Just let me know.

Is that a common wine-making supply item?  If so you might want to ask John Baker, a club member who makes a lot of wine.  He might have it.  Let me know if Greg can't get it and I will forward you John's email.
